Centre de Formation et Nutrition des Enfants
(a.k.a. CFNE or Children's Training & Nutrition Center)

CFNE School

In 1996, land was purchased in Poteau, Haiti and a boys’ home was constructed. The first 30 boys moved into the home in March of 1997. In February of 1999, 20 girls moved into their newly constructed girls’ home.

This Children’s Training and Nutrition Center is now home to about 65 youth, all from destitute situations. Each one has an opportunity for spiritual discipleship and training, to attend school, receive nutritious meals, participate in vocational training and to live in a pleasant and safe Christian environment.

The Children’s Training and Nutrition Center is blessed with Godly house parents and a dedicated leadership team and staff. Funding is mostly received through four sponsorships per youth at $25.00/month.

Small Business Loan Credit Union

Having been in operation in Poteau for a number of years, this small credit union assists qualified families by providing training in business skills and subsequent small business loans.
