Pastor Jeremiah Dorsaint came from northern Haiti to Gonaives with his aunt and later graduated from Bible College at LaCroix. Pastor Jeremiah began a church and school in the desolate savannah of Pacot, south of Gonaives in the fall of 1985. Pastor Jean Francois Vivil, an avid gardener, was very hesitant to accept God’s calling to spiritually shepherd new converts. He pursued Biblical studies and has faithfully fulfilled this calling for over ten years. He presently leads 4 small churches, primarily in communities of strong voodoo influences. Jean Francois is married and has five children. |

Jean Pere Nadieul, a construction man, had a special compassion for the destitute children on the streets of Gonaives. As he and two other men, Milo John and Philippe Remilien, sought the Lord for direction, they began ministering to young boys in the community of Poteau. This is where a boys home was opened for 30 boys in 1997 and a girls’ home in 1999. Presently, the Children’s Training and Nutrition Center is home to nearly 70 youngsters. This outreach also oversees several churches, a primary school and a vocational school. Pere is married with six children. |

During his teen years, Cherismond Delva had the opportunity to be discipled and taught art by a missionary couple. He is a very gifted artist and is eager to share his talent with others in the community of Tarasse. He began by selling his brightly painted parrots and doves. A few years ago, he started offering summer Bible and Art Camp for the children in the community. This led to the opening of a primary school in the fall of 2003. A community church opened in the spring of 2005. Cherismond is married with one daughter. |
