OUR EDUCATION PROJECTS FOR 2022:

• Poteau School Renovations: Currently we have three double grades because classrooms are to small to handle enrollment. We need to extend the classrooms to increase capacity and improve lighting and ventilation. We will also add a new roof and sidewalks once the rooms are expanded. Expanding classrooms will also allow the school to move grades 5 & 6 back to the main campus from the vocational school across the street. 

• Build Classrooms for Danty School: Build three classrooms for Danty School. Currently the school (K1 - Grade 9) is sharing four previously constructed classrooms and several smaller huts, straining facilities and creating a less than desirable learning environment. 

• University Scholarships: HHH currently provides partial scholarships to 16 university students. These young adults are selected from ministry staff children and church members. Scholarships are what make university attendance possible for these academically advanced students. 

• Bi-annual Teacher Training Seminars: In the past, HHH provided significant teacher training via US teachers visiting Haiti, which benefitted our staff and our budget. Travel has been impossible over the past three years, requiring HHH to secure teacher training from professional Haitian sources, significantly increasing our staff training budget. We are seeking funds from Giving Tuesday to cover this increase.
