Serving one another in love...
HHH is keenly aware of God's presence in Haiti and seeks to partner with Haitians who lead in Haitian communities.
HHH partners with the following Haitian Ministries:
STAN WIEBE
He first visited Haiti in 1982 when he signed up with other Canadians on a mission trip. This is where Stan sensed the Lord's call to serve with the Haitian people, primarily in the role of accounting. Moving to Haiti in January 1984, Stan ended up serving in Haiti for five years with two different missions, living in Port-au-Prince, Montrious and Gonaives.
In 1989, Stan moved to Raleigh, NC and began serving with an urban outreach, Building Together Ministries (BTM). Stan, however, returned to Haiti most years to visit his Haitian friends. They would share about their passion for reaching their own people with the Gospel of Christ and meeting some of their physical needs. As a result, the Lord gave BTM an opportunity to partner with these Haitian leaders.
As the Building Together Ministries’ supported programs in Haiti continued to grow, the time came for a "spin off" and a new entity, Hearts and Hands for Haiti (HHH) officially began on January 1st 2006.
Stan works as director in the HHH office in Raleigh, NC. Stan and his wife Patty welcome the chance to share about the great work God is doing in the Gonaives area of Haiti.
Kerline Jules
Kerline T. Jules started working for Hearts and Hands for Haiti (HHH) in the fall of 2023. She serves as the liaison between HHH and our various ministry partners in Haiti. With a strong educational background, Kerline holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and has further enriched her expertise by pursuing graduate studies in leadership. With extensive experience working with various ministries in Haiti, she co-founded and directed the Rescue One Foundation/FONMIC in Port-au-Prince in 2004. In 2022, Kerline, her husband, and their son moved to North Carolina. This move has provided an opportunity for her to continue her impactful work in Haiti through HHH. The family is deeply appreciative of the partnership with HHH, as it allows Kerline to remain connected to her roots and continue making a difference in the lives of many.
JEAN PERE NADIEUL
A brick mason by trade, Pere had a special compassion for the destitute children on the streets of Gonaives. As he and two other men, Milo John and Philippe Remilien, sought the Lord for direction, they began ministering to young boys in the community of Poteau. This is where a boys home was opened for 30 boys in 1997 and a girls’ home in 1999. Presently, the Children’s Training and Nutrition Center (CFNE) is home to more than 70 youth. In 2013, this outreach restructured under the name of Siloe Mission which also includes 9 churches, 6 primary schools, a secondary and vocational schools. Pere is married with six children
CHERISMOND DELVA
During his teen years, Cherismond Delva had the opportunity to be discipled and taught art by a missionary couple. He is a very gifted artist and is eager to share his talent with others in the community of Tarasse. He began by selling his brightly painted parrots and doves. A few years later, he started offering summer Bible and Art Camp for the children in the community. This led to the opening of a primary school in the fall of 2002 and now they have a secondary school as well. A community church opened in the spring of 2005. Cherismond is married with three daughters.
PASTOR JEAN FRANCOIS VIVIL
An avid gardener, Jean Francois was initially hesitant to accept God’s calling to spiritually shepherd new converts. He pursued Biblical studies and has faithfully fulfilled this calling for many years. New Revelation Ministry partners with HHH and consists of 3 churches located in communities of strong voodoo influences. Jean Francois has a strong desire to faithfully share the good news with his community. He was widowed with five children and has recently remarried, adding two young children to his beautiful family.
PASTOR HERMANN LERIUS
Pastor Hermann grew up in the tiny, rural community of Danty (a 3-mile hike into the mountains from the nearest road). He left when he entered 7th grade to attend secondary school. Hermann is a college graduate who worked for several years in the city of Gonaives until he heard God's call to return to Danty and shepherd his home community. Hermann has been instrumental in establishing churches and schools in the communities of Danty and Molas. Pastor Hermann inspirationally works to care for these almost forgotten communities.
