Hearts and Feet for Haiti 4K Race for Education
Join Hearts and Hands for Haiti on April 23 & 24 for the Hearts and Feet for Haiti 4K Race for Education. Because this race is VIRTUAL, anyone can participate from anywhere! Run or Walk individually, or grab some friends and form a team.
This race raises money for student tuition scholarships. OUR GOAL: $25,000!

In the areas we serve, students walk an average of 45 minutes to school. This equates to roughly 2.5 miles or 4 kilometers (4K). This is an opportunity to literally walk or run with Haitian students to support education tuition.

Your support of $25 for each student helps pay for:
- School uniforms
- School Supplies
- Staff Salaries
- School Lunch (often the only meal a child receives)

- 88% of eligible children attend primary school
- 30% of primary students dropout by 3rd grade
- Only 20% of eligible youth attend secondary school (grades 7 - 13)
FUNDRAISING
Participants will decide how many students you will run/walk for. You can run/walk for 1 or 2 students, 10 or 100, or even 500!
However many students you decide to support, you'll donate $25 for each. Invite friends to sponsor your run/walk. Or, encourage them to run/walk with you (virtually)
100% of all funds go directly to Haiti to support student tuition
A VIRTUAL RACE ENCOURAGES CREATIVITY
Run or walk in your neighborhood, on a greenway, a park, or on your treadmill - be creative.
- FAMILIES are encouraged to run/walk together
- Form a FRIENDS TEAM, a SMALL GROUP TEAM, a CHURCH TEAM or a BUSINESS / COWORKER TEAM and run/walk together.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
NONE. We encourage children to participate as a way to support and encourage our Haitian Students.
Haitian children living at the children's home will be running to support this effort.
IF YOU SPONSOR A CHILD THROUGH HHH
We encourage you to walk with photos of your sponsored child(ren) and take selfies with their photo(s). We will share them with your child(ren) in Haiti.
